Volunteers Needed at ALL Markets!

We are currently looking for volunteers for the Little Italy Mercato (Sat 8am-2pm), Pacific Beach Tuesday Market (Tues 2-7pm) and North Park Thursday Market (Thurs 3-7pm). 

Tasks include greeting shoppers, reminding them to stay safe at traffic crossings, answering questions and directing shoppers to vendors, gathering email addresses for our awesome e-mail newsletter, and more. 

Possible additional projects for volunteers:

Take photographs of farmers, vendors, produce, items for sale at the markets to be used in our blogs, social media and promotional material. All rights to use these photos would be provided to SD Weekly Markets and photo credit will be given when possible. 

Submit ideas for blogs (please see our blog page on this website to get a better idea of what we are looking for). Completed blog entries may also be submitted and by-line credit will be given if blog is published online.

This is a non-paid position, but volunteers recieve Farmers' Market gifts and gain experience in the local food / special event industry. We are happy to teach and we're so grateful for our volunteers!
